In praise of blogging

I often keep an eye on the minutes I spend reading and contributing to blogs. I do this out of fear that I'll build an unhealthy obsession, but the truth is I learn a heck of a lot from the blogs I frequent (seriously, did you not see Econbrowser's explanation of the yield curve yesterday?). Brad DeLong does a spendid job explaining the virtues of participating in the blogosphere (aka "the invisible college").
